설립취지

인도는 향후 G3 국가로 발돋움 할 가능성이 큰 국가로, 한국에게는 전략적으로 매우 중요한 가치를 지니고 있는 국가입니다. 하지만, 인도는 한국에게 심리적으로 매우 먼 거리에 위치에 있으며, 관련 연구 및 교류도 활발하지 않습니다.

따라서 ‘인도연구원’은 국내 및 해외 소재 전문가들의 역량을 결집하여 인도 관련 경제, 경영, 사회 그리고 문화 등 제반 연구를 수행하고 학술활동을 하고자 합니다. 또한, 인도에 진출하려고 하는 한국 기업과 한국에 진출하려고 하는 인도 및 서남아시아 기업을 지원하는 파트너 역할을 수행하는데 노력하고자 합니다. 궁극적으로는 인도 및 서남아시아 국가 관련 전략적 ‘Think-tank’로 발전하는데 적극 노력하고자 합니다.

 

 

India is a country with a high potential to become a G3 country in the future, and is a country of great strategic value to Korea. However, India is psychologically very distant from Korea, and related research and exchanges are not active up to now.

Therefore, the Institute (IISK) seeks to gather the capabilities of domestic and overseas experts to conduct research and academic activities related to economy, management, society, and culture for India. In addition, we would like to strive to serve as a partner to support Korean companies seeking to enter the Indian market and Indian and Southwest Asian companies wishing to enter the Korean market.

Ultimately, we would like to actively strive to develop into a strategic ‘Think-tank’ for India and Southwest Asian countries.
